EXHIBITION OPENING | Phil Garrett "Mythical Nature"

Mirrorball Gallery is thrilled to present a solo exhibition by accomplished artist and master printmaker Phil Garrett, whose dynamic body of work explores the intersection of myth, nature, and the unknown.

The exhibition will run from August 15 through September 14, 2025, with a special opening night reception on Friday, August 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The artist will be in attendance.

Phil Garrett’s monotypes and paintings reflect a deep, intuitive engagement with the natural world, shaped by elemental forces and spiritual resonance. Speaking about his work, Garrett says:
“My work is informed by nature — a kind of mythical nature. The power of storms, the spiritual quality of the elements, the beauty, grace, and ferocity of plants and animals… something greater than myself, something I can’t comprehend. Painting and making monotypes is my search for the mystery within the subject, within myself.”
Garrett’s expressive use of color, form, and texture captures the ephemeral and the eternal, revealing nature not only as a subject, but as a force — wild, mysterious, and sacred.
